Geer Village Senior Community

Geer Village is a premier retirement community with independent living, assisted living and memory impairment units.

This $20,000,000.00 plus new construction project was developed over a period of four years.

Our design objective was to create a beautiful, comfortable and sophisticated interior environment conducive to the health and well-being of senior residents that complimented the shingle style architecture.

This project included the Northwestern YMCA, Channel 6 Cable Television Station and Northwest Regional Community Center.

Community spaces include a bistro restaurant, multiple dining rooms and recreation/activity spaces, country kitchen, library, bar, chapel, several lounge areas, health center and gym, administrative offices and conferencing areas. The complex offers several different apartment options.

The Interior Design concept supports flexible client programs, including many intergenerational activities and marketing objectives, while adhering to budget guidelines. Furnishing, finishes, and fixtures were selected for overall design appeal, comfort, function, flexibility, and maintainability. Strategic placement of furniture encourages resident interaction.

The use of color, texture, light and sensory techniques enhance the visual and emotional experience. Special features include custom wool rugs, wall coverings, decorative faux painting, custom furnishings, window treatments, accessories, and lighting.

CCI’s comprehensive approach and active involvement in the design concept, construction and implementation phases ensured a cohesive and seamless transition from exterior architecture to interior living.
